Hey there, Reader,
Have you ever hesitated when someone asks, “So what do you do?”
If you’re someone with many passions, that question can feel a little complicated.
I’ve been there. Ever since I was young, I just loved so many seemingly disparate passions and I didn’t want to sacrifice myself in order to specialize. I saw the strength in being a generalist, as long as I could connect the dots and communicate clearly.
I found branding and design because I could work with inspiring, diverse people on meaningful projects that could foster connection, which felt like an intersection of so many skills and interests. I finally felt whole and the freedom to express myself.
A drawing from many years ago about all of my passions. The next step was how to combine them
Your Brand Isn’t a Menu, It’s a Perspective: People don’t need a list of everything you offer. They need to understand what you stand for and the transformation you guide.
Name the Throughline: Is your work about grounding? Coherence? Confidence-building? When you clearly name the connective tissue, your range feels expansive instead of scattered.
Organize Your Offers Like a Garden: Create a clear entry point, supportive pathways and space for experimentation. Think ecosystem, not everything everywhere all at once.
Let Yourself Evolve: When your brand is rooted in values rather than services, your growth becomes part of the story rather than a full overhaul every year.
Let your visuals hold the consistency: Even if your offers evolve, a consistent look and feel keeps everything recognizable. Branding doesn’t shrink you. It gives your creativity a home.
If you’re navigating how to hold all your interests without confusing your audience, the full post dives deeper into when to unify, when to split and how to build a brand that can actually breathe.
If you’re building something multi-dimensional and are craving a little more clarity, I think you’ll find something helpful here.
Let's get interactive here. If you are a personal brand or business-owner, take a look and let me know your thoughts! I'll share some of the results in the next newsletter.

What I'm Into lately:
→ ANALOGUE-ING: I never thought that going analogue would extend much beyond preserving the art if film photography and listening to records. But as we hurdle forth into our digital, AI world, this is becoming less of a trend and more of a way to connect more deeply in 'real-world' experiences for millennials and Gen-Z alike. I'm digging reading real books and going on runs/walks sans phone. What are you analogue-ing in your life?
→ THE OLYMPICS: If there’s ever an optimal time to get sick, I’d argue it’s during the Olympics. I spent an entire week horizontal on the couch, completely enthralled by winter sports I rarely watch like curling, skeleton and speed skating. I was so inspired by some of these athletes, like Alysa Liu and Amber Glenn, showing up fully as themselves.
→ COOKING INTERNATIONAL: I have a visceral memory eating the most delicious coconut-y, creamy dish, called Encocado, in Ecuador many years ago, and wanted to recreate it. After a few tests, this recipe brought back some of the same emotions from that meal. It may sound like a wild combination (fish, oranges, coconut, tomatoes??), but it is truly one of my favorite dishes.
I develop soulful, handcrafted brand identities for female entrepreneurs who are building something meaningful in the world, helping them share their mission authentically and resonate deeply with their people.
